Since today is a Half Day and the Day before the Regional Championships, I wanted to make sure you all knew the plan for the day!
First off, you need to do something. Not a lot, just something!
Coach Rogers will be at the track from 11:30ish – 3:00pm.
Coach Mekhi will be at the track from 12:00pm 1:00/1:30pm.
Coach Gessler will be at the track from 1:30pm – 3:00pm
Distance Runners: CLICK HERE. Your workout is posted. You can meet directly after school or run on your own. Just get in the run and stretch. Be sure you are hydrating, sleeping and eating!
Jumpers:
- If you are jumping on Thursday: Warm-Up, Drills, and then do a few run throughs to confirm marks on the runway. But that is it. Stretch really well. Cold Water Soak. Be sure you are hydrating, sleeping and eating.
- If you aren’t jumping/or running till Saturday: Warm-Up, Drills, and then do a few run throughs with a to confirm marks on the runway. You should also do some of the plyo jump drills. Stretch really well. Cold Water Soak. Be sure you are hydrating, sleeping and eating.
All Sprinters:
- If you are racing on Thursday: Warm-Up, Drills, and then 4 x 40m tape drills at 80, 85, 90, 95%. 3 – 4 minutes recovery. Or if you have a relay partner there you can do 3 – 4 relay exchanges instead.
- If you aren’t racing until Saturday: Warm-Up, Drills, and then 4 x 40m tape drills at 80, 85, 90, 95%. 3 – 4 minutes recovery. Or if you have a relay partner there you can do 3 – 4 relay exchanges instead. You can also add in 2 – 3 starts up to 30m long.
