Week of March 21: Updates, Reminders

This week in training:

  •                Monday:  Hills (Slightly Longer Practice – Closer to 4:50/5:00pm)
  •                Tuesday:  Easy Day
  •                Wednesday:  Easy Day
  •                Thursday:  Race Day for ALL Girls/Top 10 Boys & a Long Run for the JV Boys
  •                Friday:  Easy Day
  •                Saturday:  Race Day for JV Boys and Long Run for All Girls and Varsity Boys

               NOTE:  Training Paces and Some Training Groups have been updated

This week’s line up has been posted for the meet on Thursday and Saturday

Results from this Weekend’s Meet has been posted and Athlete of the Meets have been announced. 

Reminder, that Thursday, April 1st is our 2 mile Team Trial.  Our Race will start at 4:30pm.  Shortly after the race, we will honor the seniors.  I do need some help recognizing the seniors and celebrating them.  This is traditionally done by the Juniors and the Families of the Juniors.

NOTE:  On Saturday @ Howard High School, you may have noticed a text message that went out about athletes leaving the meet without permission/checking out.  Please understand that this is a LIABILITY issue for the Coaches. 

  • Parents, you are REQUIRED to check out with a COACH. 
  • Athletes, you DO NOT LEAVE without a PARENT checking you out with a COACH. 
  • Unless, prior approved, Athletes do not leave until all races are completed, we have supported our teammates and cool downs are completed.
  • Moving Forward, all parents/athletes must check out with COACH ROGERS at the finish line prior to departing with their athlete(s).
