I want to make sure I provide you all the opportunities I can find to help you prepare for the season. I think it is important that you try and take advantage any and all opportunities. I would talk with your teammates and see what you guys can workout with rides, carpools, etc. Here is a the list of the meets I found:
- December 27th: Armory Open Sprint Night (NYC)
- December 28th: Marine Corps Holiday Classic (NYC)
- January 1 – 2: 757 Showdown (VA Beach)
- January 2nd: Armory Metro Eagles Invite (NYC)
- January 4th: Bullseye Open Meet (PG Complex)
- January 8th: Hispanic Games (NYC)
- January 11th: Bullseye Open Meet (PG Complex)
- January 14 – January 16: VA Showcase (Va Beach)
The links above are all the registration links for meets that accept clubs or unattached athletes. It is important that you register for the meets you want to attend, because quite a few of them will fill up and close due to athlete limitations. Be sure to check for Vaccine or CoVid protocols so you know what you are signing up for.
For the Jan 4th meet @ PG Complex. The cost is only $10 and you can sign up for 3 events. I would recommend just doing 2 events and really focusing on those two. Registration will open Thursday and you will need to create an athletic.net profile (if you don’t have one) to be able to register (its free) so please do that between now and Thursday and be ready to sign up on Thursday.
For these meets, the times and results will populate your athletic.net profile, but it is important to know that you DO NOT Sign up as a Reservoir High School Athlete. You can sign up under your club track team, your can sign up as Unattached, of if you need a club affiliation, let me know and I can help with getting you signed up under a Bullseye group.
