We are so excited for next weekend’s trip. It is going to be a great time and the kids are going to run so fast!
I will update this post as things become more CONCRETE, but here is everything you need to know that I know.
- Here is our team Schedule: CLICK HERE (I will update our scheduled races as soon as I know for sure)
- Tuesday, I will pass our permission forms. These are required and I must have it in hand before the athlete is allowed to board the bus.
- Payment: The cost of the trip is $150. Special Thanks to all those that worked so hard to bring the trip cost down $57 per athlete from the Original cost! Our amazing families help raise/save $1653.
- Payment can be made in three ways (In preferential order)
- Cash ($150) – Give Directly to Coach Rogers so it can be deposited in the School Safe.
- Check ($150), Payable to Reservoir HS (Memo – Cross Country NC Trip)
- ONLINE ($150) using the School System OSP. CLICK HERE FOR LINK or you can scan the following QR Code.

- On Friday, September 30th:
- All students should check in with their 4A teachers prior to Friday. Make sure they know that they will miss class. Get any make up work that they can.
- Students can bring their bags, Suitcases to my room (327) and store them in my back room. Please do this right when you get to school. Do not be late to class.
- At the beginning of 4th period, all athletes will go directly to first lunch. Each lunch together in the Cafeteria!
- At the end of 4th lunch, go promptly to room 327, retrieve your bags and change into your running clothes. REPORT directly to the front of the school (near our team area) and board the Charter Bus.
- Other misc. Items:
- I would bring a few snacks and personal drinks on the bus. We will provide some snacks and waters for the bus ride.
- Bring $10 cash to give to Coach Rogers for Dinner. Carrabba’s Italian Grill will be catering our dinner on Friday at the Hotel. We will also provide drinks and desserts for the kids.
- At the meet they will have Nike Apparel and meet shirts available. These are completely optional. I do believe they accept cash and card.
- After the meet we will stop at my parents house in Raleigh and we will have a traditional North Carolina BBQ (burgers, dogs, pulled pork, mac and cheese) and a few other desserts and side items. We will also typically offer a few vegetarian options. If you have any special dietary needs we need to know ASAP. The kids can play basketball, hang out on the hammock, watch TV, play Nintendo Wii or simply relax.
