I hope everyone is excited for the First Team Meet of the season. Here are a few very important items to note before tomorrow.
- All meet information can be found on the team webpage - Live Results, Heat Sheets, Team Schedule and Itinerary. (CLICK HERE)
- If you are riding the bus, please note the BUS leaves at 12:15pm form Reservoir HS. DO NOT SHOW UP at 12:15pm. Plan to arrive by 12:00pm. Get everything you need from your lockers.
- If you opted to self transport, you must arrive to Long Reach High School by 1:00pm!
- You must wear your uniform while competing. However, if you wish to wear undergarments to keep you warmer, that is fine. Your uniform must be on the outside of your undergarments. You may warm-up in any clothes.
- Dress Warmly for the Day. Bring extra layers, hats, gloves, jackets to keep yourself warm.
- As part of your warm-up, you should practice starts and hand offs.
- Prior to your event, you need to check in at the BULL PEN to get your hip numbers. They are placed on the LEFT SIDE OF YOUR HIP and LEFT SIDE OF YOUR CHEST/ARM.
- If you are leaving early with a parent. YOU MUST CHECK OUT WITH either Coach Gessler or MYSELF. Failure to do so will RESULT in immediate removal from the team.
- If you are riding the bus home, we will depart after the meet and athletes will be instructed to call/message home for IMMEDIATE PICK UP.
- If you are on the schedule to run an event, you are expected to run the event. Only a coach can remove you from an event and you must do with a conversation with a coach.
- DO NOT ENTER the building of the school. DO NOT LEAVE the grounds of Long Reach HS.
