Important Items for the Week
Atheltes of the Meet
- Each of the major meets we like to recognize a few athletes for being AWESOME! That could be running a really fast time, Personal best effort, or other amazing feats!
- For the Carlisle Invite we wanted to recognize the following:
- Jackson Pascarello: He ran 16:51.3, a 32s personal best time. His time ranks him as the 9th fastest time in Reservoir History!
- Griffin Ellinghaus: He ran 16:57.2, a 40s personal best time. His time ranks him as the 12th fastest time in Reservoir History!
- Madison Kuck: Despite some knee discomfort she had an amazing race! She ran a personal best by 1:18, for a new personal best of 23:21! Madison ran almost even splits throughout her race. Her first mile was 7:31 and her overall average was 7:32. What a great race!
- Jonah Coler: He was on a mission! Jonah was focused and ready for the race! He ran a personal best time of 23:54 which is an improvement by 1:24! Another fun tidbit about Jonah’s race is that his first mile was 7:50. His overall average was 7:42. He was faster in the back of the race! BIG SECOND HALF!
- Ela Muniz: She was aggressive from the start. Positioning herself in the front of the race from the start! She earned a 13th place finish and a near personal best time! Her time of 20:13 is her third fastest time 5k time in her career. Only 15s off of her personal best! Great job!
- Jeremiah Kargbo: He ran fast! Jeremiah improved his personal best time to 21:19. This is more than a 2 minute improvement.
- Avery Kuck: She broke her first big barrier… she went from a thirty minute 5k runner to now a runner in the 20s. 28:49. What an awesome barrier to break in just her third real race! She improved by more than 3:00! She is getting stronger, faster and more confident!
