I am sorry. I thought I sent this out and I must have forgotten.
Here is the link to the Meeting I had the other day with the Athletes and Parents that wanted to join.
In the presentation I covered:
- Focus for the Season/Summer
- Paperwork, get your physical scheduled NOW. Must have it and the rest of the paperwork by August 11th.
- Get good/new running shoes for summer training. All distance runners that run year round, should budget for 4 pairs of running shoes a year (Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring) Go to Feet First for a discount.
- Summer Training: Join Bullseye Running… ONLY $50 and the benefits are amazing. They get to run with some of the best runners in the County! They can still train together as a team 3 days a week!
- Summer Overview and Weekly Summaries of Summer Training
- Cross Country Camps… Date, Deposit, etc. Please let me know if you plan on attending camp. Need to know ASAP. At least get your deposit in before CAMP FILLS UP.
- The Current Season Schedule. DO NOT SCHEDULE THE SAT Test for Oct 2. That is our team trip to NC
- Please review the Return Date of August 11th. Athletes can only miss 2 days of practice between August 11th and Sept 4th or they have to sit out a meet or till they get their 20 days of practice.
