Temperatures will be in the 90s for the next few days. Please stay hydrated and take care of yourself!

Wednesday (Half Day of School)

  • Track & Field Meet at Guilford Park: Meet Information Page
  • Arrive at school on time and attend every class promptly.
  • If you plan to ride the bus, return to school by 2:00 PM.
  • If you submit a self-transport request by 11:59 PM Tuesday, April 14, you may meet the team at Guilford Park at least 90 minutes before your first event.
  • Self-transport requests are tracked on the team document for the meet.
  • No official practice for those not attending the Guilford Park meet.
  • Go home after school.
  • If you're competing at the Hopkins Meet on Thursday, focus on rest, hydration, and recovery after school!

Thursday

  • Track & Field Meet at Howard Community College: The Johns Hopkins Black and Blue Under Armour Invitational Meet Information Page
  • Be on time for school and attend all classes.
  • Early dismissal at 9:55 AM; bus leaves at 10:15 AM.
  • If you submit a self-transport request by 11:59 PM Wednesday, April 15, meet the team at Howard Community College at least 90 minutes before your first event.
  • Self-transport requests are tracked on the team document for the meet.
  • No bleachers: bring a folding chair. We'll have one or two tents and four bench chairs available.
  • Bring drinks—food trucks will be at the event.
  • YOU MAY ORDER SUBWAY: 6” or 12” sandwich with chips and water for $10. Order by Wednesday at midnight. Bring a check or cash (payable to RHS) for lunch.

Friday

REST AND RECOVERY DAY FOR ALL. HYDRATE. REST, STRETCH, RECOVER!

Saturday

Short Practice, TBD. At minimum, a workout will be provided—completing it is highly recommended!

Reminders & Preparation Tips

  • Check the meet information pages for specific event details.
  • Submit self-transport requests by the listed deadlines.
  • Bring all necessary gear, including a chair for meets with no bleachers.
  • Order lunch in advance if needed, and bring payment.
  • Monitor your hydration and rest—especially with high temperatures forecasted.
  • Stay organized, arrive early, and support your teammates!
