Atheltes of the Meet
- Each of the major meets we like to recognize a few athletes for being AWESOME! That could be running a really fast time, Personal best effort, or other amazing feats!
- For the Great American XC Festival we wanted to recognize the following:
- Mia Yoplac: Mia just started with us during week 5. She expressed a desire to run with the team and we were happy to have her! Mia has improved dramatically! She was named athlete of the meet because she improved by more than 5 minutes at Great American! That is more than 1:15 per mile! Very proud of her!
- McKenzie Eldridge-Dooley: He had a big Personal best at Carlisle and had another 20s improvement at Great American. He also ran as a member of the scoring 5 towards the varsity team score. Great Job McKenzie!
- Myles Eldridge-Dooley: He ran with confidence this weekend! He was determined and focused throughout the entire race. He broke the 20 minute barrier with an 82 second personal best time! 19:52. Let’s Go!
- Giancarlo Torres-Robles: He has improved more than 3:00 since the Top of the Hill Invitational! Specifically, he improved by 1:00 at the Great American XC Festival! He is also a member of the 19 minute club… 19:28!
- Conan Chung: He really went after it this past weekend at the Great American XC Festival. He looked fast... He looked strong! He was able to maneuver through the packed field of more than 300 runners! He ran a new personal best time of 20:22 which is more than a 1:00 improvement.
- Scott Frisvold: Since last Fall (2024), Scott has improved by more than 10 minutes. This pas weekend at GAXC Festival, he improved another 2:00! Awesome Job Scott.. 25:30! Next Step… 24’s!
- Griffin Ellinghaus: This one is simple! #8 all time in Reservoir HS School history! 16:48! Way to go Griff! #ONLYAJUNIOR
- Ela Muniz: This was easy! After being pushed from behind to the ground, and then kneed in the head while trying to get up (receiving a concussion), and still finishing the race with a 12 second personal best time of 19:49… #6 all time in Reservoir History!
