Week 9 Summary: Fall XC 2024

URGENT: Thursday, OCTOBER 17: 

THE BOOSTERS NEED OUR HELP.  WE NEED 3 MORE VOLUNTEERS. Thank you for the current volunteers!

FANTASY CROSS COUNTRY

The Top 12 (athlete) teams have been decided and have been advanced to ROUND 2 of the Fantasy Cross Country Championships!  Congrats to all of the winners and those that have played this Fall!

Monday:  Course Tempo Intervals
3:00pm – 5:00pm

Tuesday:  Wellness Tuesday (NO TEAM PRACTICE)

If an athlete needs to rest due to not feeling, well we are giving the athletes the option of either taking a day off or going for a run.  They simply need to communicate their choice to Coach Rogers.

A run is highly encouraged and preferred, but we also want the athletes to make a decision based on their health.

Runs should range from an minimum of 30 minutes to no more than their Groups suggested amount below.
Group 1:  38 min
Group 2:  35 min
Group 3:  35 min
Group 4:  45 min

 

Wednesday:  Long Run
3:00 – 5:00pm
*** Athlete of the Meet

Thursday:  Easy Run
3:00pm – 4:45pm

Friday:  NO TEAM PRACTICE
Athletes need to run on their own and post a run to Strava

 Saturday:  VO2 Max Intervals at Centennial HS
8:00am – 10:00am
