WEEK 4: Summer Training

First and Foremost, good job to a lot of you for making it out there this past week!  Some of those days were brutal regardless of when you ran!  As always, be safe.  Run in the mornings or evenings when possible.  Run under the cover of shade if possible.  Treadmills are acceptable, but only on extreme days.  Please remember, part of summer training is getting ourselves accustomed to running in the heat and humidity.

Secondly, Congratulations!  You made it to your first down week.  ALL athletes should be running a little less this week.  You have been building for 2 - 3 weeks, its time to give your body an easy mileage week.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out.

Each week.. Look at the weather, Check Family Calendar, Schedule your runs to avoid heat or work, etc.
