Cross Country Banquet – Reminder

Good Morning,

We are excited to celebrate the Cross Country Season with you tomorrow night at the Maple Lawn Club House.  As a reminder this was the email sent out on November 28th.

I wanted to remind you about 2 topics and then ask a favor on behalf of the boosters.

  1. If you signed up to bring anything or to help with the Banquet, please don’t forget! You can see the sign-up genius link in the above link.
  2. Reminder: The banquet is catered, please bring your $5 per person.  You can bring cash or a check payable to RHS.  We will have a check list at the banquet.

FAVOR:  The primary booster fundraiser is the Booster Bingo Event that takes place in the spring.  If you can go, I would highly recommend it.  It’s a blast!  What typically happens is each team bring a themed basket as prized for the bingo games.  The team donates funds toward the cost of the basket.  We have done a fitness theme most years.  We provide shoes, water bottles, running watches, hats, etc.  Usually the basket is valued between $175 - $250.  This year the boosters are asking for a $5 per athlete donation so that the boosters can have the prizes/baskets made.  This is a huge load off of my plate and off of one yours (I always ask a parent to help make the baskets for Cross Country, Indoor and Outdoor).

What I am asking, is in addition to the $5 for dinner, could you bring an additional $5 per athlete (or more) to donate toward the booster bingo fundraiser.  I would like to be able to provide the boosters with 100% representation for the Cross Country team.

Please bring a separate $5 cash or a check.  On this check, please make payable to RHS BOOSTERS.
