Thursday’s Plan:
If you are scheduled to run in the meet on Thursday, April 13 at Wilde Lake HS, then you will need to read through this email and make sure you know what to do and where to be.
BE ON TIME TO SCHOOL AND FIRST PERIOD! If not, have a school excused reason!
#1. By the time you get to school tomorrow, an email will have gone out to all of your teachers stating that Track & Field has an early dismissal at 1:35pm. Your names will be sent out along with a message stating “All students are responsible for all missed work.” I recommend that you talk with your teacher at the very beginning of the period to make sure they are aware you are leaving early.
*** Parents you do not have to write the school an email or anything. My email to the staff is all that is needed for attendance purposes and accountability.
#2. At 1:35pm, you simply get up, quietly, from your chair and ask to be excused from class. Be respectful of class and your teacher when you depart.
#3. Get dressed quickly and report to the Athletic Hallway by the tennis courts.
#4. If you are self-transporting, please email Coach Rogers RIGHT NOW (but prior to 12 noon on Thursday) that you are self-transporting. Make sure to arrive at the meet at least 2 hours prior to your event or by 2:45pm.
#5. IF you are riding the bus, please get on the busses calmly and quietly. Please be mindful of your volume and be respectful to the driver and the coaches on the bus.
#6. Let’s have a great track meet and remember to warm-up properly and cool down properly.
