Midterm/County Champs Week

Good evening Reservoir Track & Field,

This is a very important week for you!  Its Midterm week!  I hope you have had a chance to study and prepare.

As a reminder, due to Midterms we are not allowed to practice, but an emphasis needs to be placed on you completing your assigned workouts.  We will publish the practice plan for each day for you to follow.  The track will be unlocked each day so that you can stay after and workout right after school.

My suggestion, stay after school when you are done with your exams, get in your workout and then go home to prepare for your exams the next day.  Getting in a workout after your school day is both good for you mentally and physically!

You can access both training plans on the front page of the Team Website under the Urgent Announcement Section.

The County Championship Line Up will be released either tomorrow (Tuesday) or Wednesday morning.  Remember, the County Championships are Friday @ 4pm at the Sports Complex.  There will be a bus that departs from Reservoir.  All of that information will be come out with the lineup.

Things to do this week:

  • Study for your midterms!
  • Arrive to school focused and prepared.
  • Eat Breakfast each morning and hydrate!  This will wake up your brain prior to taking your midterm plus it is just good for you!
  • After school, get in your workout!  Stress relief (both mentally and physically).
  • Go home, eat dinner and study!
  • Make sure you are getting to bed at a decent hour!  Staying up late is not good for you when it comes to taking your exams!
