Weekly Overview and Reminders:
Monday: Practice at 8:00am till 10:00am
Please also attend Feet First to get new running shoes and new racing shoes. Athletes should not be running in shoes that are older than a month or two. They need new shoes to help protect their feet and to ensure they are adjusting to the mileage. This is also a great time to get racing spikes, running shorts, sports bras, etc. All at a discount and as an incentive, a portion of the sales will be donated back to our program. If we have enough funds, I’ll purchase the team shirts or apply it to the team trip to NC to offset the cost. Take a look at Slide 11
Tuesday: Practice at 8:00am till 10:30am
Wednesday: NO OFFICIAL PRACTICE
Athletes are expected to get up and go for an easy run on their own. See the running schedule that is posted on the team website. All runs must be posted on Strava prior to the Beaver Dam trip in order to get credit for the practice.
Beaver Dam Team Trip: This is a great time for our athletes to get to know each other and have fun! The cost is $20 and this takes care of entry in to the park, food, drinks, snacks, etc. If there are any dietary restrictions, please let me know. I would love it if every one attended!
