Kiersten Jewell (Jr) on the podium for the Girls Triple Jump! Kiersten jumped a personal best jump of 32ft 10.5in to finish 6th place in the 3A State Championships. As a junior, she has the 9th best jump in Reservoir History.
Julian Vissering (Sr), finished 2nd in the Men’s 400m Dash. His PR of 49.76 will go down as the 3rd fastest time in the 400m in Reservoir History.
Katherin Parris (Sr), a Radford University Soccer Commit, finished her hurdling career off at Reservoir with a 6th place finish in the girls 300m Hurdles. She has a PR of 47.29 in the 300m hurdles and 15.58 in the 100m hurdles. She is ranked 3rd and 5th respectively in those events in Reservoir Hurdling History.

I missed a picture of Jalen Booth-Mitchell (Jr) in the 100 Dash. Jalen is a second year track athlete, he has personal best times of 10.98 in the 100m dash and 22.86 in the 200m dash. Jalen finished 6th in the state in the 100m dash with a time of 11.26. As a Junior, Jalen is currently ranked 6th all time in Reservoir History in the 100m dash and 11th all time in the 200m.

I also missed a picture of Julian Vissering (Sr) in the 200m dash. Julian finished 6th in the 200 dash with a time of 22.73. Julian’s personal best time of 22.36 ranks him 6th overall in school history.

I missed a picture with Mecca Jackson (So) in the Long Jump. Mecca jumped 14ft 10.5 in to earn a 6th place at the 3A State Championships. Earlier this season, she jumped a personal best in the long jump of 16ft 2.5in! This jump is the 7th best jump in Reservoir History!

The Girls 4 x 200m Relay team of Jamie Adams (Jr), Sophie Davidson (Jr), Katelyn Herberholz (Jr) and Adeola Opadina (Sr), ran a season best time of 1:44.96 and finished 2nd at the State Championships. Their time of 1:44.96 ranks them as the 5th fastest 4 x 200m relay team in school history.
The Boys 4 x 100m Relay team of Myles Harrington (Jr), Jalen Booth-Mitchell (Jr), Dylan Bradford (Jr) and Julian Vissering (Sr), finished 3rd at the state meet with a season best time of 42.68. Their time gives them the 4th fastest time in school history and qualifies them to the National High School Championships in Eugene, Oregon sponsored by Nike.

The Girls Relay Team are not only State Champions, but their time of 48.63 is also a NEW SCHOOL RECORD! Their 4 x 100m relay team also qualified them to Nationals in Eugene, Oregon!
I am a lucky Coach! These are 4 amazing young ladies and I am glad I got the chance to help through this crazy year! So proud of them!

We are going to miss Julian! He is a great athlete with tons of athletic ability. We all wish him the best as he plans to attend UMBC in the Fall. Julian has run Cross Country and ran personal best times in the 5k of 17:27 (21st in school history), in the 3.0 miles 16:36 (6th in school history), the 100m dash in 11.19 (12th in school history), 200m Dash in 22.36 (6th in school history), 400m Dash in 49.76 (3rd in school history), the 800m in 2:04 (13th in school history), in the 1600m 4:51. He ran on the 4th ranked 4 x 800m relay team in school history, he his has jumped 8ft 6in in the Pole Vault and 20ft 1.75in in the Long Jump. Like I said, we are going to Miss him!

We had 2 school records broken this season. We already know about the 4 x 100m relay. I wanted to make sure I recognize Katelyn Herberholz for her Personal Best time in the 400m. She ran 58.35 which breaks her own school record and ranks her 3rd in the 3A East Region, 3rd in the 3A State Classification, 11th overall in the State of Maryland.
