Couple of fun things I want you to consider participating in.

1. This Friday, (July 21) is the Friday Night XC Summer Series event at Reservoir HS. Each summer a select few High School allow the community and athletes to preview their course. Its a fun way to get in a few miles for the day. You can race it, you can run it as a Tempo effort, or just come run it and have some fun! Either way, I hope that all of you come out and support the event and show your Gator Pride! The event starts at 6:30pm, so arrive by 6:00pm to register. Costs $5. 2. On Saturday, July 29th a unique opportunity presented itself to the running community in the Baltimore Area. Sound Running (they primarily operate on the west coast) is traveling to the brand new Under Armour World Headquarters right here in Port Covington, Baltimore to host a community mile event and a pro mile event. Anyone of any age can run and you will be placed (seeded) with other runners of similar ability. Even if you are not in MILE Shape, it will still be a great event and you will have fun! The event organizers state there will be food and drinks for all those who sign up and it is free admission to those who want to come spectate. BOTH EVENTS... anyone can run, any one of any age. Families, Friends, neighbors, etc. Spread the word.
